Always held the last Saturday in July, the 2008 Bosen Land & Livestock 12th Annual Production Sale is scheduled for July 26th. The sale will start at 11:30 a.m. Sharp! Horses will  be ready for your inspection beginning at 9:00 a.m. and our sale is held at our home place at 1158 North State Street in Preston, Idaho. Click here for driving directions through mapquest or here for a printable map. Preston is a small, friendly town and we welcome the 750 or so people who attend our sale.

*Our entire 2008 foal crop sells at the Production Sale. We hold no foals back. There are no reserves and we do not “no sell”.  The 2007 production sale averaged $1100. Click here to view the results from last year's sale.

Most foals in the production sale are by the stallions advertised on this website.  We run about 100 head of broodmares, mostly Quarter Horses, about 20 Appaloosas, about 20 Thoroughbreds and about 10 Paints.

Our appaloosa mares are some of the best bred race animals in the industry. All our race mares pack some great racing blood (and up close—own daughters and granddaughters) including: Moon Lark, Easy Jet, Dash For Cash, Manx Cat, Deregulate, Beduino, etc.

*Don’t forget the 8th Annual Bosen $5,000 Added All Breed Yearling Halter Futurity held at the ranch on the morning of the production sale! All foals purchased at the production sale are eligible for the Bosen $15,000 Added All Breed Race Futurity, the $5,000 Added All Breed Race Derby, and the Bosen $5,000 Added All Breed Yearling Halter Futurity.
