Sara's Two Year Old
See how big and beautiful this two year old girl is? She over 16 hands now and just barely two! She is very smart and pretty coordinated.
Glen thinks she will be his 870 horse as a three year old.
She is a beauty! Way big. Very, very, SASSY!
In the sun she shines like copper.

Chris Miller's Filly
Born May 7th. She is by Geneo and out of an ApHC granddaughter of Isle Breeze. This little girl should be able to run, her mom is the fastest on the place and has an enormous stride.

Thanks to Norma Kelly from Washington State. Norma bought a breed fee to Darkelly in the 2010 VGBRA Stallion Service Auction and has been kind enough to send this photograph. Norma says this Darkelly foal is nice and gentle. They will call him Froghollow Darknight. Watch for this Darkelly at future barrel events. |

Andy & Mary Atkinson from Pocatello, ID sent this photograph of their 2011 foal by the Royal Jester and out of Tisa Arrow C. Andy & Mary purchased Tisa Arrow C from one of the Bosen Production Sales. Andy & Mary won the 2010 Bosen Futurity and recently won the Emmett Derby with another Bosen Production Sale Horse. |

We purchased GD Special Lane aka Ricky at Public Auction in Aug. of 2009.
We noticed him because of his nice quiet disposition and gentle manner. We also noticed his soft easy way of moving and his awareness of what was being done with him.
Sadly he was in very poor physical condition when purchased but we felt he was really worth the chance to bring him to his full potential.
My husband put him right to work in the stockyards and uses him for ranch work. This horse will really work cattle and is always very willing.
In early April I started riding him English to prepare for the spring shows. We did quite well and always placed in Eng. Pleasure, Eng. Equitation Open Showmanship and even winning Open trail at a couple of shows.
Ricky would do well in any riding discipline that a person would like to pursue. Our whole family including the grandkids enjoy riding him.
Our 2 little granddaughters in the picture below are Kehla Wold and Addison Parker and are both 3 and love to groom him, and as you can see he just loves the attention.
Sincerely Betty Ann Brainard

Connie Taylor, who owns and operates Black Horse Ranch in Douglas Wyoming bred her good mare Executive Smoke to The Royal Jester in 2009. The resulting foal named Jest Smoke is pictured below shortly after winning the Weanling Stallion Halter Futurity. Connie currently stands the Appaloosa Stallion, Takin The Cash at her ranch. Congratulations to Jest Smoke and his connections. May there be many more wins in the future for this awesome weanling colt. Sheri Young and I have been working on some barrel stuff and during the course of one of our e-mails, sheri wrote:
Did I mention I have a C Arrow horse in my barn. 6 year old gelding by King of the Lanes, out of a Streakin Six mare. He's been roping steers for a few years and my daughter just started him on barrels... he's nice!
Turns out the gelding is out of GSR Real Easy Jewel and Sheri writes, "We love him, he's got a very willing attitude, he's built for speed but can drag his butt!!" His name is Kings Over Sixes. "From the ears back has an amazing confirmation, huge hip, hocks up underneath him, great feet, bone and straight legs. We really like him and he can run!! Bonnie and Larry Blain from Spanish Fork, UT bought him as a weanling from one of your sales."
I asked Sheri if Lennie (as she calls him) was branded with the C Arrow Brand. She responded, "yes, he has the brand. Bonnie and Larry sold him as a 3-4 year old to a roper. We got him from the roper last fall and my daughter Jackie started him on barrels the end of December. He is working really nice for her. Hopefully he will work out and you will see him at the barrel races."
Thanks Sheri and Jackie for keeping us updated and good luck with Kings Over Sixes. We hope he's a big money maker for you. |

Dark Shawnee is a 2006 gelding (Darkelly - Dashing Die, Deregulate) from the 2006 Bosen Sale. At 3 years old, he has been used on trails and around cattle. He will be a great rodeo and arena event horse. |

Dark Shawnee is a 2006 gelding (Darkelly - Dashing Die, Deregulate) from the 2006 Bosen Sale. A great gelding out of a beautiful daughter of Deregulate. He sure looks like his sire.

Arron's Bug is a 1994 ApHC black mare (Sir Arron [OH] - Lucy Bug) from the 2001 Bosen Sale. She raised a 2002 filly by Dispensing Speed and a 2007 filly by Geneo JJ while working full time at our ranch near Idaho Falls. She is great to ride, and a little strong-willed. |

Geneo is a 2006 gelding (Geneo JJ - Secret of Life, Raise a Secret) from the 2006 Bosen Sale. This horse can really cover the ground. He works cattle like a stock horse (which I can't explain by his pedigree). At 3 years old, he has accepted every thing in stride - sometimes with a lot of enthusiasm. |
