Kennedys Dark Moon

Campaigned as a race race by Elsha McGarry, Kennedys Dark Moon by Darkelly now enjoys a 2nd career as an awesome turning barrel horse. Good luck to this Darkelly Filly and her connections. Bring Home the Bacon, Baby!

First Down Casanova, (by Darkelly) and owned by Shelly Johnson from southern Utah are fast becoming the barrel team to beat in the Intermountain Area. The capable duo have already accomplished the following in 2011:
1. Numerous 1D placings in NBHA races while competing against WPRA horses. Currently the team of Darkelly Filly and Shelly Johnson are the High Point Leaders in UT01 First Year Horse Division.
2. Greg Olsen Memorial Futurity placed 2nd in the 1D Amateur 1st Go. Finished in the top 25 1D Futurity 1st Go out of more than 150 entries.
3. Dixie Classic Futurity 1D Champion. The Darkelly filly finished 5th in the 1D First Go and 2nd in the 1D 2nd Go, to take the Average with a time of 35.129. Also finished 9th in the 1D Dixie Classic Open Race 2nd Go and 14th Overall Open Average out of more than 190 runners.
